Not only does exfoliating help to remove dead skin cells from the surface of your skin, but it also helps to remove buildup from sweat and oils that can accumulate over time. Exfoliation helps to keep your skin looking smooth, clear and glowing. 

When exfoliating, it’s important to choose the right type of exfoliant for your skin type. If you have sensitive skin, opt for a gentler exfoliator, such as a cleanser with jojoba beads or a lactic acid-based exfoliant. 

If you have oily skin, choose a more abrasive scrub, such as one with sugar or salt particles. It’s also important to remember not to over-exfoliate – once or twice a week is usually enough.
